The Seshun (@theseshun) – Where Would You Go

The Seshun is Band located in the Woodlawn section of the Bronx Comprised of a Singer/Guitarist (Davey Cushen), Bassist/Producer(Flip Beats) and three Rappers (Dylan Stack, Mike Cuts, Vinny Bandana). We derive influences from Acoustic Rock and Modern Hip Hop music.

The Group draws inspiration from a wide range of current musical acts such as Ed Sheeran, The Artic Monkeys, Eminem, Jay Z, and Drake as well as past iconic figures like Nirvana, Bob Marley, Grand Master Flash and many many more. It is hard to pin down any one artist or act to compare the music to as The Seshun is an entirely unique and unprecedented approach to the Hip Hop genre blending the intimate and thoughtful style of acoustic music with the raw, unapologetic, witty and cutting edge lyricism of Rap. We recently released our debut EP “Woodlawn Nights” on all major platforms including iTunes and Spotify. We are currently working on our follow up project as well as working on performing shows locally and at open mics throughout New York City. We are also working on music videos for our singles which include the video for the song “Where Would You Go (Remix)”. In Addition we are also releasing one off music videos on social media.
