Watch Alabama hip hop artist Steven Darnell’s latest visual “Love Affair” from his most recent project “Without A Deal”.

Steven Darnell, is a native of Tuskegee and Montgomery, Al. Steven has an ability to captivate any audience, painting pictures of the southern environment he grew up in.

Now under his own imprint, New Perspective Music Group, he released his critically acclaimed mixtape ,TSDP,in the Spring of 2016. The project goes in depth from a more personal point of view. In the summer of 2017 he released an album, Without A Deal, that received rave reviews as well, appearing on many different hip-hop blog sites.

Watching rap videos and hip-hop unfold from the screen of his television set, it was then he discovered his love for hip-hop and his pursuit as a rapper began. Now using music as an outlet to express the emotional journey he endures along the way. It’s safe to say he has a bright future.

“Boy” is a multi-genre song about the difficulties one experiences when a significant other is intimidated by one’s social standing and how people can struggle with anxiety and other emotions during a relationship. The song sounds like a soundtrack worthy rock and trap fusion, but with unique and clever r&b lyrics that complete the overall track.

AZARI is an American independent singer, songwriter, rapper, producer, and photographer who grew up on the east coast but later moved to Los Angeles to further his music career. He is heavily influenced by multiple genres of music that he listened to constantly before starting to make his own music. He realized that he wanted to pursue a career in music after listening to N.E.R.D.’s second studio album “Fly or Die” in 2004, which incorporated multiple genres throughout the 12 track album. AZARI is known for his rhythmic, catchy, and clever musical style, that he uses when not only making beats but as well as songwriting. On April 13, 2018, he released his debut cover single “Boy”, originally written and recorded by Willow Smith. He felt this song was a great story with beautiful melodies and lyrics. AZARI is currently in the studio finishing his debut album that is scheduled to be released early summer 2018.

Seattle rapper, Huey P continues to drop new music for his listeners. Today, Huey P drops a new visual, “Not Taday”, which is directed by Steve Arcenio.

Northwest artist “Huey P” is a great young talent raised in the Tacoma/Seattle of Washington State. Huey immersed himself in the sights and sounds of the emerald city. A storyteller to his very core, Huey began rhyming as a way to tell the world about his experiences as a young man striving to succeed. After teaming up with Tjyolo Ent., Huey began to hone his skills on the local concert circuit opening up for many well-known artists that came through the Washington State area as well as headlining shows of his own. Catching the eye of “DJ VIP” of Nipsey Hussles “All Money In” Family, Huey recorded an EP with the Los Angeles Dj titled “Did You Get The Message” The project was met with enthusiasm from the hip hop fans. Eager to continue the momentum , Huey recorded a Mixtape with DJ Drama and enlisted cameo appearances from “Ty Dolla $ign”, Tory Lanez, Cassidy and J. Winans.

Not Today video opens up with Huey P passing his lady a stack of money while she counts it in disbelief. “We just tryin’ make it so that we can take it out the country.” Huey zips through traffic in his red Benz with wifey, stunting on anyone who didn’t believe in his goals and making an everlasting impression to his lady. “I do what I want and you can accompany me”. All of the work he has been putting into his career, he did it all for his wifey and the Devil himself couldn’t stop him from reaching his goal.
