The media is everything. They control who you see, who you hear and can even decide what you become through subtle manipulation. But no one media will condition your brain the same, so tons of kids grow up not knowing who they really are. Some come from broken families who rely on media to escape reality. Sadly many people in those situation are worse off doing so. This song is not only about media manipulation but also about the general coldness and deceptiveness of people, friends and family.
